So, I mainly play and run Pathfinder 2e and D&D 5e. But in the past I both played and ran a lot of Shadowrun 3rd edition, and loved it.
Cyberpunk 2077 turned me on to the cyberpunk setting as a whole. While I'd previously read some seminal cyberpunk novels (like Snow Crash, The Diamond Age, Neuromancer, Holy Fire, etc) it wasn't until I played the videogame that I realized how cool this setting is.
Problem is, how do I find anyone to play Cyberpunk Red with? Online game listing at various LFGs are almost all just D&D 5e games. It's hard to even find frickin' Pathfinder games, and they're the number 2 game on the market.
(I started a local Pathfinder game mainly because finding one was impossible)
Anyways, is there some hidden Cyberpunk Red LFG that I don't know about? I really want to play. Any help would be appreciated.

The Rules Lawyer had a video on it step by step but that was V9 and doesn’t seem to transfer well. What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

I'm exploring d20 systems and am looking for suggestions. What I'm really interested in finding is something recently developed (past 10 years or so) that has something fresh to do and say with a d20 system. A great example of that is Shadow of the Demon Lord.

- Fantasy setting
- XP spend rather than leveling up or smaller level ups with choices
- A good boon/bane system, advantage/disadvantage, or some kind of narrative dice.
- Strong system rules for skills, social encounters, exploration, etc. A great RPG that does this right would be Edge of the Empire with their great section on each skill and potential results of each skill.
- Rules medium, SOTDL is a little light, Pathfinder 2E too much.
- Non-vancian casting. Some kind of spell point or found power (Numanera does this well) would be great.

Hello second time here on the Pathfinder 2e reddit with a question. My group are planning our kingmaker game and well when it came time for my character I had an interesting idea for a Thaumaturge. He is very intelligent and Charismatic but limited in ways. Thanks to backstory stuff he is dyslexic, can't read or write, needs glasses to see, and is left handed though that hand is missing an index finger. With this in mind with his story and hiccups. Was hoping I could get some help figuring out his stats. I am brand new and not used to mixing backstory and stats like this system like 5e.

I've not caught up on most of their content lately, as though I've been enjoying Blood of the Wild, I'm not really into the Live Show format of Strange Aeons, and prefer 2e shows for the most part. I was really excited to see their new main flagship show and very interested to see their take on this AP, as my party is going through it ourselves.
I read somewhere that it was originally delayed because they wanted an office first, but they mentioned that they signed a lease and have one now? (I assume? I saw they said they did back in March). Is there still going to be Gatewalkers/Pathfinder 2e?

2023.06.04 03:08 Ironsides19 Midnight Campaign Setting and Pathfinder 2e equivalent to DnD 5e Hardcore Mode?
So I've played DnD (starting way back in ADnD) and it's various offspring for a lot of years, including PF 1e and 2e. I say this to say that I'm fairly familiar with DnD and PF2e; I'm trying to avoid wasting time on the "Play The Game As It Is Intended" conversations that have cropped up around 5e players wandering in and playing PF2e for the first time and immediately wanting to house rule things they haven't seen before, things that often are pillars of what make the system great. I've played PF2e as it is intended a lot. I like it a lot. I get where the forum is coming from when they suggest people play the system as intended starting out. I'd like to tweak it a bit to serve my purposes.
One of my favorite settings that I'm planning on breaking out for my PF2e group is Midnight, the old FFG setting where the Dark Lord of the setting (a rough Sauron equivalent) effectively controls the world. It's a pretty grim setting, and I don't think PF2e's standard heroic fantasy is quite the flavor I'm looking for. However, I also don't want to use something else like Shadow of the Demon Lord or Genesys for a variety of reasons. I'm curious if there's a version of DnD 5e's hardcore mode where the adventuring day, rather than being oriented along 1 hour and 24 hour rests, is reoriented along 1 day and 1 week rests. I'm wanting some equivalent of DnD 5e's hardcore mode to better fit Midnight's flavor. Discouraging combat, making combat more costly, making combat more frightening, and slowing down the tempo of violence in the game is my primary goal.
I glanced through the GMG and didn't spot any variant rules to that effect. I'm curious if there's any official variant rules or community balance pass similar to hardcore mode or if I'm going to have to sit down and do it myself? I don't imagine it would be too hard, I just want to avoid doing the work if it has already been done for me.
