Looking for a nice long RPG game to fill the void until the new Dragons Dogma comes out.
Ideally this would be my “constant” game that I would play along with one other while I finish clearing out my backlog. All my backlog games are wildly different in tone than ESO so this game would be perfect to play along with them.
The bundle specifically is the one that includes whatever “Necrom” is plus all the other expansions. I also would like for this to respect my time as I work a regular 9-5 with only weekends off.
I don’t mind grinding as long as it’s actually working towards something. My experience with elder scrolls is only through my multiple play throughs of Skyrim but I’ve heard this plays quite differently.
I’d also rather play solo than online.

Informed my landlord we wanted to renew the lease for another year. He called and said, "Well, if Rent goes up a lot, that's fine with me. What do you all pay now?" I remind him we pay $1,975 (way too much, btw) and he says "I haven't done any research on rent changes in that area. But you do it and tell me if rent changed." Of course my immediate answer was rent had stayed the same.
He then brings over a blank lease with the agreement that rent stays the same and nothing changes but basically wants me and my roommates to fill out this lease and return it to him.
We fill it out with all the same agreements as before, sign it, and get it notarized (because he always wants the lease notarized) by a coworker of mine and tell him to come pick it up whenever.
It takes about 3 weeks of constantly reminding him he needs to come get and sign the lease before he shows up. No other conversation with him other than me reminding him to get the lease and him making plans he never follows through with to come get it.
Finally he appears to sign the lease and informs me that after he got off the phone with me, he did research rent in our area and it went up $100 and also taxes went up, so you know, boo hoo for him. But he doesn't say he's increasing our rent, just that a similar place in the area is $100 more. He presents this I for as if I am going to say, "Oh, yeah, man, just increase my already crazy high rent by $100 because a rental up the street also went up!"
But he never said to increase the rent I already wrote in on the blank lease he gave me. And then he tries to say that we are supposed to pay the pet deposit every time we renew the lease. Took me saying that no where either I or my roommates have ever lived has ever made us pay another deposit of any kind when renewing a lease before he dropped it.
Then he wanted to say there was nowhere for him to sign the lease and when I clearly pointed out the signature line, he signed next to it in the smallest possible signature I have ever seen.
Not really a rant, but a story I wanted to share as my landlord is the fucking biggest moron I know and I work for the government so I know a lot of morons.

I raised my grease-stained hands in triumph, feeling as elated as a Kuwaiti kid who just aced his math test.

Hello! Using a Lelit Elizabeth machine at home and have been struggling with getting a lighter, less dense foam.
I know that 'ideally', the resulting steamed milk (especially for pouring latte art) should have the texture of wet paint. However, I tend to like my drinks where the foam is slightly less dense. Definitely not a dry cappuccino, but just a touch airy and more bubbly.
I feel like when I steam and try to adjust the air introduced by aerating longer, the result is less light, bubbly foam, and more thick, dense, polished foam. It's not the same, but kind of think shaving cream in terms of texture.
I had thought that, introducing more air in the aeration phase would lead to lighter foam/more bubbles, but I just end up with this dense thick foam instead. I'm using whole milk, and aerate anywhere from 5-10 seconds, and even when dumping a ton of air at the aeration phase, I never get the light, airy texture I'm looking for. I feel like there's something obvious I'm missing here, but I'm unsure what!

First off, let me say that at this point I hope we get Ange Postecoglou in as quickly as possible without any hiccups, and that he works out and gets us back on the right track.

At the time Munn was hired, Conte had been fired and Paratici had "stepped back." Yet knowing both spots needed to be filled, Levy can't buy out Munn's contact and get him in to lead those searches? Isn't it going to be that much more difficult to find a DoF that aligns with Munn's vision and doesn't clash with an already-hired manager? The party was traveling through the Mountain Ridge of Doom - the place where the forest elf country - meets their long enemy, the Korrvian human empire. They have been at war for a 1000 years, and naturally, after a few human generations, the war only remained on paper. Though elves and humans still kill eachother. The Ridge is the border between the two countries, and armies have passing through it. Many armies fell there too.
On their road - they have encountered an entrance to an ancient mausoleum - of the fallen Cyclops empire. And in it - they have found the signs of a vampire - and inside, a mystical well, filled with abyssal writing - and a pool of pure, negative energy in liquid form. There, they encountered Varis, a head of the expedition group, the drained corpses of which littered the tomb. He alone drank from the well - and was turned into a vampire spawn. He implored them to drink, and was not immediately hostile as the rogue of the party was a Dhampir. She decided to drink it up, and instead of turning into a vampire spawn - the process was complete, her human part was smothered and she turned into a vampire. I gave her a +2 to dex and cha, her stats were low anyway so its fine - Her alignment shifted to evil, she was neutral before. She also noticed that Varis immediately became subservient to her.
However - i pulled no punches there - the sun now deals radiant damage to her - and rivers deal acid. She got a cloak that protects her from the sunlight (as limiting the party to travel only at night is just a bother) And most of all - she now is vulnerable to Radiant.
Those are serious weaknesses - and i want her to have some strengths too. Any suggestions? Vampire feats? Vampire spellcasting? Vampire charm ability? I plan for her to also recieve exhaustion if she doesn't drink blood, and this exhaustion can only be cured by feeding. For spell purposes she is also undead now - so no curing wounds, and probably no healing potions too.

Hi all! I’m 34 and have been very bad with skincare/beauty products up until right now! I have started noticing horizontal lines on my forehead, some crows feet, discoloration at my scalp line from sun, and dark baggy eyes (those have always been a problem, but more dry/wrinkly than usual). I’ve been so inspired by all the posts here and would LOVE some advice on my future routine.
I was told recently that at my age I should be using serums, which really threw me for a loop since there are so many options out there and I had no idea where to start.
I started using some Paula’s Choice products instead of diving into serums (C5 super boost moisturizer in the morning, barrier repair moisturizer with retinol at night, and resist anti-aging eye gel both) with either no results or negative results (I think the eye cream has made my eyes more wrinkly?)
Researching skincare is so overwhelming since there’s so much information out there, so I have turned to ChatGPT to try to simplify the results and at least get a starting point. I asked it to create for me an achievable skincare regimen that focuses on anti-aging, wrinkles, and sun discoloration. I’m going to paste the routine at the bottom.
FYI - I live in a very sunny area and am often in the sun in the summer (wearing lots of sunscreen)

I understand this is more of an art than science, but looking for some general good ideas to use as a base. I could use guidance on how to pair fats and proteins with carbs to minimize spikes. Also trying to understand how to use my pump in different ways to cover simple carbs, complex carbs, fats and proteins. The total macros/calories I have for a sample day are:

We are treated like a wolf pack so if any one of us does something wrong we are all kind of blamed. I get that, but it fucking sucks when your siblings eat you up for a slight “fuck up” or really just talking out of anger. I have my own emotions and I also get provoked, but no I have to be more “considerate” of my sibling’s situation and be more “polite”. Yesterday a huge fight blew up between us (kids) and our father, so anyways I seriously don’t feel like talking or engaging with him in any way. Especially since he basically gave zero shits and actually screwed us over some more after talking to him. He is really stuck up and naggy about our studies/ college GPA, so he called over the eldest and asked about it for the millionth time…etc. Anyways I walked into the living room seeing how my other sister went since the eldest told her to come with, and saw my dad eating this frozen ice cream cake thing. It has been in the fridge for months, uncovered, and next to meats, so when he asked if anyone wants to eat I frowned, said no and that I think it’s rotten with a strong and irritated tone. He got kind of defensive and I just said “okay then you can have it, enjoy” and left. When the eldest came back into the room she was so mad because she thinks I should be more considerate of her and be more polite because of her situation (him calling her, interrogating her about her studies, and also us WHEN the two of us appeared) (I genuinely don’t mean this in a bad way, but he interrogates her more because she messed up a lot and had a few hiccups during her college years). even though I don’t think what I said would affect her in any way. I just got really mad because why do you have to nitpick on what I say or do. I know we are usually grouped together and the situation is getting aggravated because we are in exam season and she is staying at my sister’s room all the time, but I still can think and speak for my own. I’m still mad about what happened yesterday and the whole topic of discussion is something I’ve been thinking about for so long. I even talked to my dad about it a few other times but obviously it just ended in failure; he shuts me down and makes me cry. It is something sort of financial and since I have a twin, the two of us are always viewed as “one” person. The eldest has her ways with my dad and is better at dealing with him and asking for money (it isn’t easy to work part time or anything where I live + my dad especially is against it). I got mad and said how is that related and how the hell could what I said affect you. How come every time I say anything you have to scrutinize even if it was so trivial. She complains of how hypercritical they can be and I understand that, but why be hypercritical towards each other as well? I’m just irritated and this isn’t the only time something like this has happened.

I am very much a home body, and I hate being away from my cats when I don't have to be.
  
• I absolutely love music. My favorite band is Fleetwood Mac, but I listen to anything from the 1960s-1990s (early 2000s music is cool too). The genres I mainly listen to are classic rock and pop. I also love films and art, as well as sitcoms and reality tv shows. My favorite sitcom is easily Seinfeld, and I will (admittedly) watch any kind of reality tv.
  

Those are just some basic facts about me but I promise you I am an enigma! I don't have too many preferences, all I really ask is that we have some things in common, you are 24-35, you live in North America, and that you're okay with my tattoos and that I have cats (because they aren't going anywhere!)
