Background: I'm a casual Civ player that just got into Old World. Naturally I want to play as Romulus right?
I'm currently in a Mediterranean pre-made map and things are going relatively well. I was able to fill out and settle cities on the Italian peninsula with Romulus while on the battlefield as a general. I also was lucky enough to have found a "Blessed" child from the northern ruins to adopt as my hier. By this time Remus was gathering strengths and overall trait stat boosts. Unfortunately, a few turns later Remus found a way to dethrone his brother and exiled him 😭

Within five years Romulus comes back to apologize to his brother Remus. All is fine. I place Romulus back on the battlefield as a general while I scheme of a way to put him back on the throne. The next year he dies on the battlefield... He must have been fighting the shadow of Stanis Baratheon, because there were no enemies nearby.. 😶
Remus since has amassed a ton of legitimacy and stats. He took in this adopted "blessed" nephew as his hier and even had another daughter who's doing great with her study of politics.
Question: Which pre-made map is best for a good Roman Empire experience? The Mediterranean, Old World map, or the Imperium Romanum?

I have a bunch of crypto mining equipment I picked up when mining Etherium was dying awhile back. Specifically, I have a couple MSI 360-F Pro motherboard’s that supports 18 GPU’s and everything needed to run 18x PNY A2000 RTX 6GB. Each currently has 8gb RAM and running off a 16GB flash drive.
I would like to repurpose this to run some large language models and eventually to train my own. I have a few questions:
1) What type of limitations will I have with this setup over purchasing less but larger GPU’s?
2) How would you recommend I set this up for maximum usefulness in experimenting and playing around with different models maintaining flexibility? I understand some setups parallel better for multi-GPU setups?
3) If I had $300 to throw into this system now, how would you spend it? I would assume to get RAM to 32GB and the largest SSD HD I could afford with the remaining?
If it matters I have a strong technical background across Linux, Windows, programming, web technologies, application security, etc; but very new to machine learning / ai. I am trying to come up to speed with understanding all this AI stuff with hands-on learning. So far my weak point is my rudimentary knowledge of stats/higher math, but I am sure I can pickup what is needed. Ultimately, I want enough knowledge and setup to be able to train my own model off of my data.

I know Colorado has no laws stating a landlord must install a mitigation system to make a living space "habitable", but does summit county or the city of Breckenridge have any laws/regulations that protect renters? I'm renting a place that has >6 pCi/L on a short-term average.
I can talk to my landlord and hope they would kindly spend their hard earned money to protect my health, but they can also refuse and still require me to pay out the lease if there are no protections in place.

A lot of city builders dont really capture how most cities truly develop, which is alongside changing times and needs. I was wondering if anyone has made a game that does, IE, you start a small town in the 1700’s or something and as you develop it, time advances and things change, like cars are invented and become popular, sanitation technology improves, new business types need different spaces etc.
Now that i write it out, it seems like a bit of a big ask so i wouldnt be surprised if the answer is “no, not yet” but it could be an interesting discussion point regardless

We have been looking for a year in our competitive Virginia city and have recently adjusted our criteria to try to win a bid. A lot of this spring, offers were in the 20s and still are in certain parts. We decided to tour and bid on a fixer upper. There were very few showings and based on that, we decided to put an offer in. The seller’s agent verbalized that the owner was going to accept in an hour. But she ended up leveraging our offer to encourage other buyers to bid and high, and then she came back to us and asked if we wanted to modify our offer. This place was kinda scary. No, we did not. Well, we found out all this through the grapevine because we ended up knowing one of the other bidders who said they were really on the fence about the house, but an offer swayed them to act and of course she implied that we made some nice offer(nope). And the seller’s agent was pushing an escalation clause. The third bidder ended up winning. Ultimately, it worked out because we realized how much we didn’t want this house, how much of a disaster it was, etc. I know the seller’s agent didn’t do anything wrong, but I hate the whole escalation game they play and how dirty they are; it’s why so many have agent distrust. I have heard it’s settling a little where I live and people are doing them less frequently, but it felt like this realtor just had to make it happen so that she could have bragging rights. The other annoying trend is the rent back. They wanted some stupid rent back of like 11 days. Why not just list closer to when you want to move? But the agent didn’t put the rent back in the agent notes, so it was this hunt to figure out what they want.
In the end, it felt so nice to not include the escalation clause and to just bid what we were comfortable with.

Love Sal and Joe but as comedians they need to take actual advice from fans on how to improve, make it better. When they started the podcast they had it down to a formula now it’s unlistenable. You can tell it’s too formatted when u gotta skip thru the first half of every pod. That first 1/2 is just pimp dragging the pod down by his laugh, talking about some non descript topic and just talking in the background. They live in New York City and do podcasts and guest on ones, surely you can find someone who is actually considerate to the listeners and the listening experience we have to listen to. No matter in headphones or speakers turned up Pimp is unbearable. Joe just mindlessly talks about what he does in a day to fill time. Sometimes the battles don’t even last 30 mins due to all of whatever the fuck they talk about before that dosent mean anything to the topic they’ve picked. The battle is the reason you are tuning in. Ion know bout y’all but if there’s a good pairing they put up yeah definitely it’ll be a banger but they’ve ran out of most without bringing them back and just keep turning the wheel. so basically combined with my classes and other stuff i dont have anytime work until 4 pm everyday, and this month im down on rent about 400$ due to an unfortunate emergency that ate up all my savings.

Hey!
I plan on traveling to Tunisia (not sure the exact location) in fall. Probably not alone, I plan on visiting one of my friends that I met on an exchange program at my university, and also taking some of my friends with me.
It's my first time leaving Europe and traveling by plane. After some research, the best and affordable choice for me is to travel with a travel agency, because the cost of the tickets and a somehow fancy hotel (all inclusive) is still less than buying just the plane tickets on my own. (I assume it's because travel agencies have discounts on flights...?)
My question is, can I leave the hotel complex for few days? Visit my friend, bounce around cities and discover on my own? Will they let me back?
I will appriciate all tips and advices please :)
